Guilt Free Pizza

Ingredients (1 pizza)

    For the Crust
    • 1 cup grated broccoli stalks
    • 1/2 cup (heaping) shredded full fat mozzarella cheese
    • 2 T coconut flour
    • 1 egg + 1 egg white
    • 1/2 t oregano
    • 1/2 t basil
    • 1 t garlic powder
    • optional: rosemary/thyme
    For the Sauce
    • tomato paste
    • tomato sauce (no salt, no sugar added)
    • 1/2 t oregano
    • 1/2 t basil
    • 1 t garlic powder


      For the Crust
      • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
      • Steam the grated broccoli for 10-15 minutes, or until really soft.
      • Squeeze out the excess moisture.
      • Mix all the crust ingredients until fully combined.
      • Form into a ball and then flatten dough onto floured cookie sheet until desired thickness/thinness is reached.
      • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and firm.
      For the Sauce
      • Mix equal parts paste and sauce; you'll likely use 1/4c total for the pizza, depending on your preferences. Add in the spices.
      Assembling the Pizza
      • Swirl on sauce (about 1/4c) and add your favorite toppings.
      • Throw back into the oven for about 5 minutes or until everything is heated through.
